My anxiety is coming back
I'm not entirely sure why but I've been feeling really queasy lately...
I'm finally starting to relax a little
I really like this weather. And it's nice to be with the horses when it's not snowing...
This cold weather can go away now.
It's not helping. And as much as I actually like the horses, it just makes it harder to go out there.
Things Have Been Difficult Lately
I'm not sure what's even going on in my mind right now.
Music Therapy?
Emma had felt a little better after talking to Misty. She’d listened to some of her old music for the first time in a while, and she forgot how much she liked it. She ventured down the hallway and saw the empty music room. She stepped in, and the huge, brown piano sat there, almost calling her name. She fought a small smile, as she quickly wiped down the bench before sitting down. She stared at the bright white keys for several minutes before gently pressing a few of them. Vaguely remembering the piano lessons she'd taken as a very young child, and sighing.
First Sleepless night in a while...
Even with the sleeping pills it's hard.
Horses
Emma was having a rough morning, but something caused her to remember what Ashley and Will told her about the horses and how they would listen to whatever she had to say, without responding much or being judgmental. She grabbed a coat, and headed out to the stables. She saw Dolly, the friendly horse perked up as it saw her and she smiled. Emma walked up to her and started to talk to it like Ashley did, and it stayed calm. She finally started to talk about what was on her mind. She was calm at first, but as she got more into what was bothering her, she started to cry, and the horse just sat down, allowing her to sit by it, just like she did for Ashley. She was still skeptical of sitting down by the horse, but continued to cry and pour her entire heart out to the animal. She just felt so misunderstood and the horse was the only one she could just talk to.
Nightmares
Will sighed, after watching Shelby pump April's stomach, he felt drained. He knew the blond was going to hate him, but it was something she needed. He also remembered a certain redhead, who came to him during the blizzard. He sighed, he knew she was doing better, since Shelby had released her from the infirmary, but he still wanted to check in. He made his way to her room, which was spotless, and he saw her, covered up in a big blanket, huddled in the corner that her bed made with the wall, and he was pretty sure she was crying. He gently tapped on her door and smiled, "Emma..."
