Nnnoooo, don't apologize. It's awesome you're taking up all this work! Remember to check cheep military surplus stores for stuff you can use for Winter Soldier, might save you a bit on the coin!

i ... do not really know what cheap military surplus stores are tbh? (i'm pretty strongly anti-military, so i've always kept my distance to anything remotely touching that subject.) like, we have stores that sell military equipment to the general public, clothes and bags etc., but i doubt they're cheap? i'm confused.

weeeelll, eight is nearly done, i really only need to make the belt- sure, the boots are still not accurate, but hell, i bought them for this cosplay and they weren't that cheap, so i'm not gonna replace them for a while. gozer is a long-term thing i've been meaning to make for ages. main reason i haven't yet is morphsuits/overalls are bloody expensive. but when i manage to find a sort of cheap white one, the rest is mostly painting and glueing, which i'm good at. although the collapsed bubbles are still something i haven't quite figured out how to make. noooow, nightcrawler is ... well, i'm gonna get more acquainted with pleather and bodypaint before i do that. i might cheat and make a top/bottom combo instead of a catsuit thingie. the red part should cover that up nicely actually. winter soldier! i kind of want to start on winter soldier asap, but eeeh, i can't. i pretty much figured out how to make the arm (i'm not gonna stick to any of the tutorials online because i'm a cheap lil bitch and make it out of foamed rubber instead or worbla or polymer clay -- cast my arm, sew a pair of tights into a "glove", make the metal parts one by one, glue them on the fabric, spray paint black, then silver, paint the star, fixate), but again, i need to get acquainted with pleather before making the vest/jacket. also, i really want to make the mask, though probs without goggles. oh, and boots are a problem. i do have actual army boots somewhere in my mum's cellar but idk whether they still fit, also they are really large and heavy and i'm extremely self-concious about wearing them.

like the differences aren't that drastic but it's enough to throw me off??  idk this is my like mental comparison and the paper i've seen seems pretty consistent with these rules....

italian paper:

lines printed in gray

blank space at top and bottom

no vertical lines

four hole punched (but this is consistent with the italian binders/other hole punchable products so it's really to be expected)

american paper:

lines printed in light to dark blue

blank space at top only

(pink) vertical lines on left and right of page

three hole punched

it's mostly the vertical lines thing that has been throwing me off....... im used to using them to format my notes and keep them all consistently ruled to one side.............. w/ this italian paper my handwriting starts slanting to the right lol..
