ask unrelated to the most recent ones, but the Mudfur-Leopardstar one instead
it's probably irrelevant to the story and all, but. how does Adder 'Browntooth Cavity' Fang feels about the dude that kicked his ass severely becoming a cleric afterwards? it did, in a way, weakened RiverClan by letting one of their stronger warriors abandon this mantle and become a healer instead, so in a way i can see him feeling smug that Hailstar is willingly weakening his own forces. but i can imagine him feeling somewhat further humiliated and angry that it will now be remembered as 'Adderfang's got beaten up by a cleric lol what a loser'.
Mudfur was a very well known and powerful warrior before becoming a Cleric, it's not like people believe his skills suddenly got reset. Hawkheart of WindClan merc'd one of ThunderClan's strongest warriors a couple of years before Mudfur made his choice.
Warriors-turned-Clerics can be vicious. It doesn't impact his reputation after the fact.
Adderfang's primary emotions towards it are fury, disrespect, and disgust. Not for the reputation hit-- but because he's a CLERIC raising kits.
RiverClan has fallen. It and its damned Queen’s Rights have gone too far. They make a mockery of the Warrior Code and all it stands for. Venom bubbles hot in Adderfang's chest, bitter bile in his throat, when he thinks about the fact he didn't destroy Mudfur back when he had the chance.
It's filth, corruption, weakness. They call themselves WARRIORS? Mudfur is a vile heathen, and Hailstar is a damn fool for disrespecting StarClan in this way. Their Holiest role in the entire forest should not be treated like a glorified retirement.
That is how Adderfang sees this.
