Zayne & Mauve 17, 18 of the OC asks, and Robin 13

13. What is something that makes them uncomfortable? 

Robin, by nature and also summer adventures with her uncle, tends to be unnerved and/or uncomfortable for a lot of reasons. But she’s also a scientist at heart and uses that to her advantage, treating everything like she’s out to get results. Solve for x. Answer the 5 W’s. When she was younger, she used to be uncomfortable with people staring at her prosthetic leg, but that faded away with time. Now she’ll just stare back until she makes them uncomfortable. As for something that really makes her uncomfortable now, something that the scientific method can’t quite seem to get rid of--her brother dating her best friend. Just kidding. It’s puppets. Do Not talk to her about Pinocchio. You can talk to her about Lil Cal, but you’re on thin ice. 

17. Who is their favorite person(s) to spend time with?

Zayne and Mauve, while dating, aren’t each other’s favorite person to spend time with, although they’re each pretty high on the other’s list. The baseball team is also pretty high on Zayne’s list, but his absolute favorite person is his childhood best friend, Apple. A true chaotic dumbass duo. Most people are surprised the two get along at all, given Apple’s devil-on-the-shoulder attitude and Zayne’s need to keep up model appearance, but more often than not Zayne just goes along with a roll of his eyes. Because he’s a star athlete, they can get away with more than if Apple pulled stunts on her own. On the flip side, Apple helps Zayne with his homework (read: lets him copy). Apple’s also one of the few people who can stand her ground against his pride and arrogance without getting their head bit off. 

Meanwhile, Mauve prefers to hang out with Robin over anyone else. Mauve’s cool-headed demeanor balances Robin’s readiness to throw hands, and Robin’s raring-to-go nature whittles down Mauve’s seriousness into something more laid-back and carefree. Plus, the two goth kids gotta have each others’ backs.Where Zayne and Apple have been best friends since kindergarten, these two have only been close since middle school. Mauve also likes spending as much time as she can with her grandpa. They have lunch together every Saturday, and afterwards she reads to him as his eyesight’s getting pretty bad. 

18. Neck kisses or shoulder kisses? 

Zayne likes giving Mauve shoulder kisses. Convenient as she’s taller than him by five inches. As for receiving them, he doesn’t really care either way. Mauve is all for neck kisses. Probably a vampire thing.
