Jumped in Jump City

Audrey doubted she would be able to afford an apartment in California. Even with the prize money from her most recent martial arts competition, it seemed that California was just too expensive for her. Jump City, however, was strangely less expensive to live in than everywhere else in the state. She later learned the reason behind this was due to the villainous activity. Oh well. At least there were heroes to fight against it. Though it would seem criminal activity was not limited to super villains... As Audrey sat on a park bench, a man lurked nearby, eyeing the purse just beside her. Thinking it an easy steal, the man darted past her, grabbing her purse in the process. “Hey!” Audrey yelled as she bolted after him. Even with the head start, he was unable to outrun her. Instead, the robber pulled out a knife and pointed it in her direction. Before he could use it, however, the redhead kicked his hand and sent the knife flying. The man hissed in pain as he held his hand, leaving him oblivious to the kick about to leave him writhing in pain on the ground. “I advise you stay down,” the woman warned as she reclaimed her purse.

    Jump City was... awesome! Steven loved it already. He was taking     a mini vacation here with his dad after all the... space incidents they’d     had recently. He was looking forward to just... enjoying himself. He loved     the gems, but it was nice to get some normality once in a while. 

    Greg had sent Steven out to get a pizza while he unpacked, so, Steven     was on his way, and upon seeing a pretty good looking pizza place, he     entered, peering around curiously. However, upon seeing a very green     person, he froze, his eyes wide.

    “..A gem?” He muttered to himself, confused.

❅— he was up to something - that much was clear by the little grin on his lips. what he held in his hand helped give anyone who noticed him a rather good idea. but he was not aiming at someone who was paying attention to him, no, he was aiming at someone who was not paying attention to him. at least - not yet. and what better target than a guy known for his heroics? people like him had to unwind sometimes - why not now? and without giving it anymore thought than that the snowball went flying loose from his fingers and towards the guy known as Beast Boy.
