IT'S FINSHED LETS FUCKINNG GOOOOO
Knocked this whole thing out in three days! Audio is from Game Grumps since I felt it really fit both of them :)
Also audio syncing was a pain and I wish more programs just let you put audio straight into it so I don't have to go through hell again.
Canvas drawing of the Themsies!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Jax is a bully to everyone in Digital High, and for his last year of high school, he plans to go out with a bang of pranks. His plans get halted when he's chaperoned for the semester, putting him on a leash that he's desperate to break. Will he free himself of his shackles, or embrace them as his own?
Gangle's a shy girl who's desperate to survive her last year without any hiccups, so she plans to lay low. That's hard to do when you have to watch over your worst nightmare for the rest of the semester, but she's got no choice. Will she prevail against her predator, or tame them as her own?
Or…
Jax & Gangle get paired up, and neither of them are ready for what this unexpected connection will do. Both to each other, and their bond.
RAHHHHH THE CHAPTER IS RELEASED! GO MY RIBBUNLINGS!
If you want future updates for this fic, then check out @missribbons! I plan to keep my main blog for other content & don’t want to make it hard for people to find.
(Below is just those who asked for me to ping them)
(HAS MUSIC, DO CLICK IT ON)
Another animatic finshed! This one was really fun to do and I love how it came out. I fucking laugh every time at the end XD
I know Susie and Jax aren't EXACTLY the same but I couldn't get the idea of her expressions being done by Jax out of my head. I may do more if I can think of how to transfer them over.
Doing an animatic of a @enby--ghosts "Can I crash on your floor?" fic; Here's my (poor) voice acting and scene layout for one of the scenes in Chapter 17!
Snow Day (A short Ribbun Oneshot)
If you wanna read this on AO3 then just click the hyperlink!
The snow slowly pelts my face as it fell from the clouds, piles of it on the soil and surrounding pathway. Couldn't see the sun from the weather, but it wasn't dark either (a bit after noon I think).
"You okay back there, Ribbons?"
Gangle gave me a hum of approval as I gave her a piggyback ride. "Your lucky your light, ya know?"
"Mhm…"
"You need to get some shoes at this rate. I can't be your steed for every winter."
"Mm."
Is she sleepy now? Boring. The crunch of the snow was satisfying, but the sun would set at the pace were going. I search around me for anything to entertain me over annoying Gangle further, but there's zilch. The tree's glisten white and the path began to clear of snow, but-
'Wait what?'
I look again, and the rest of the path had a streak of clean concrete; No sheen reflection of ice above it either (fell for it before, those things can die in a ditch). My grin begins to widen as an idea starts to brew in my mind.
"Hey, Gigi?"
"Mm?"
"You don't mind if I speed up a bit, do ya?"
"Wha…?" Gangle lifted her face from my back, her muffled voice becoming clear.
"I'm not hearing a no~." I chirp, stopped right at the start of the snow cleared path.
"Not… not too fast." she mumbled, still a little sleepy from her impromptu rest.
"Yeah yeah, not too fast." Leaning down as comfortably I could with the cargo on my back, taking a breath to ready myself.
"Just fast enough-!"
My feet carry me like lightening as I run across the path, the cold wind against my face invigorating me.
"Jax!" Gangle yelled in panic, as her ribbons around my neck tighten.
"Hey, I'm holding back, Ribbons! This is just a fraction of my power!" I beam as I flew down the path as it dipped.
"Slow-!" Gangle halts as the slope starts to go up, gravity catching her off guard and saving me the complaining of someone who doesn't appreciate the speed of their bunny steed.
'The path's getting snow again.'
"Damn, already?" I slow my sprint, but still kept a pace most couldn't match on a good day. "Well, looks like your-"
My vision goes black. I stumble to a halt at trying not to fall over.
"Hey- Move your mask! Did your mom never tell you to not mess with the driver at the wheel!?"
"Are you gonna slow down now?" She ignored my complaints as the back of her mask smooshed against my face, and like hell I can continue in this state. I growl a little as I speak.
"Move it or you'll regret it."
"Is that a threat?"
"No, it's advice."
A pause brewed. Without my eyes, it's making my sense touch a lot more sensitive. Gangle was deep pressed into my back, her winter clothes unable to hide the swirl of her torso pushing at points. The silk of string that connected her mask moved up and around my neck, smooth and warm in spit of it's slenderness. It did feel nice, but more pressing matters made me push away the blush it put on my face.
'I warned you.'
Gangle ducks away as she felt something touch behind her mask. "Jax!" she shrieked with a turn to face me, now blushing with surprise.
"Hah! A lick always does the trick." I wink at her. "I'll slow down for you, princess~."
And that, my friends, is how you deal with your ribbon girlfriend blocking your vision with her face-
Pure ice fell on my cheek as Gangle put her mask up close. "Wh- Hey! You can't lick me back!"
Gangle laughed, leaning back and I had half a mind to just let her fall into the snow, but she'd just pull me down with her. "All's fair in tongue and war, Jaxy boi~."
"Oh shut up freak."
"Says the face licker."
I get back to walking as the clouds began to get a orange hue. "Your one to talk."
"Talk to me when you aren't licking your girlfriends neck, mister."
"…Shut up."
"Heh. Love you."
"Love you too, idiot."
