Every Merlin “Arthur returns fic” is so unrealistic. Arthur speaks perfect modern English in every one of them. Need an Arthur who has somehow made it to modern London before Merlin senses he’s back and he can’t understand anyone because yknow, his English is outdated far enough he can’t understand anything, and Merlin’s just desperately trying to find him and Arthur’s gotten himself arrested in full Camlann armor, trying to tell the police what’s happening and that he’s King Arthur and they’re going to institutionalize him

the most unfair thing in Merlin is how Lancelot died a hero and then was brought back to betray Arthur and that's. that's just everyone's last memory of him. Merlin never tells anyone it wasn't him in the end. so Arthur and the knights are left to believe he killed himself in the dungeon.

Merlin and Arthur are one of the only boss/employee romances I’ll take and it’s honestly because Arthur thinks he’s the boss when in reality Merlin runs the show and I think that’s funny
