Repost @catsofbeautifultogether @beautifultogethersanctuary Meet Eeyore she is fighting to beat FIP and we need financial help to be able to continue to get her the medication that she needs. See my link tree in bio to donate Here is her story- she was born in a small rural shelter in NC. Her mom was too sick to care for her, so the shelter employees places her with another nursing mom. Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary pulled both mom cats and all 6 babies about a week after delivery. The battle for survival began once we got them with a medical foster. Both moms were sick, babies were small and sick. Using bottle feeding and both moms we started to help everyone. Sadly within about two weeks we lost one baby and then a week later we lost another. The 4 remaining babies began to grow but all continued to battle some illness or another. In September I brought them back to my house as 2 of the four were not growing at the right rate. Quickly it became obvious that Piglet was not well. Testing revealed suspected FIP and we lost her 4 days later. About 2 weeks after that Tigger got a fever and started to decline. Her belly filled with fluid and during a vet visit she went into respiratory distress and we heartbreakingly decided to let her go. Roo and Eeyore were doing great and growing. Roo is in fact with his furever family growing and doing great. 2 weeks ago Eeyore began to lose weight, stopped eating and started stumbling. We couldn't lose another from this litter and so we reached out for help to get treatment. Within 24 hours her walking got better and wishing 48 she was interested in food. This treatment is 12 weeks and it will save her life but it is expensive. Can you help? #fipcats #rescuecats https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm-pLJ9LFAx/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
