today was the last day of my 1st year as a teacher.

1 (one) of my students told me i was the best teacher he ever had and gave me the biggest hug ever.

1 (one) of my students asked me if we could have school again tomorrow and everyday cause he was going to miss me.

1 (one) of my boys told me to fuck off and called me a shit head, and then hugged me very tight and said he was going to miss me after his other classmates left.

i think it's safe to say that even though there was a pandemic and things didn't always make sense, it was a good school year

me, after a field trip where my students behaved: man i love my job. you kids did great and i love you all so much that was awesome.

me, today after having 3 hours of restraints and getting punched in the nose: there's only 16 days left of the school year and then i get a break before ESY
