In Dire Need of a Hospital Visit || Kidnapped Princess
@oliversaluki
You know, Isabel now fully understood why some people felt like they were going crazy staying in a hospital. You were stuck in a room with four plain white walls, generic sad hospital food and a tv where the remote control barely worked for it half the time.
She could go crazy here.
Don’t get her wrong though, Isa was immensely grateful to be on the mend and breathing after the beating she had gotten but she didn’t even have a book. Of course, it would have been a bit of a struggle to read with one of her arms in a sling, and a couple of fractured ribs but she would’ve figured it out if it meant she could at least read.
Her brain was going to die here.
It wasn’t reading and with the pain meds it was either loopy or sleeping depending on which one she was given. It was barely thinking and when it did think it was to replay the events that had brought her to this hospital bed. She felt like she was stuck in an eternal lose-lose situation. Thankfully, her most recent pain medications had drowsed her down into a nap of which she was waking up from now.
It was after blinking away her grogginess did Isa notice Ollie now in the room with her, a bright smile taking over her features.
“How long have you been here?”
