For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoeve believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16, NIV This verse is very familiar to all of us. Yes, tomorrow is Valentine's day but let's not forget what love is. It's not about sex, not about the flowers or romantic surprises, but love is about God. Purest, most genuine and sincerest love that we could ever feel. Therefore everyday is Valentine's day. Smile! Don't be that sad and bitter tomorrow. :)
Those God confirmations that happen and you don't realise they are happening till a few hours later. I've had those all week, but the greatest one happened today for my friend who had a dream so big and so unreal, to everyone else and sometimes to her it seemed impossible. We had spent a good three months or so earlier this year praying for each and for the dreams God had placed on our hearts, and we each got words from God spoken over our lives that reiterated, confirmed and fueled our dreams. Along the way though circumstances and clouded vision overtook, and doubt began to seep in not just for her but for me, and those dreams seemed unattainable and unachievable.
This week though, it seemed to be the week God breathed new life and new vision into those dreams, stirring them up again. Upon reflection I realised that every word God had spoken over my dreams was coming to pass as time went on. The point of this is for me to tell you that regardless of where you find yourself today or tomorrow, regardless of circumstances, what He says and promises will always come to be true. It's those promises we should hold on to and because He is such a loving and good Father He will continue to reaffirm all He has promised you, what you have to do is believe and trust that it will come to being.
