Any advice on how to do the art fundamental like those stupid boxes and all those fundamental and especially how to continue it practicing those fundamental of art when they are SOOOO BORING TO DO like my mindset is that i rather work on the art i want to make than get bored to death while doing the fundamental (yes I know fundamental is imp but tell that to my brain it won't listen to me)
So do u have any advice on how to tackle art fundamental
the only advice i can think to give is to not just draw studies but draw stuff you like out of it; so, instead of drawing boxes for 2 days straight, try to draw one of your favourite characters in perspective and use that to practice. All of my recent perspective practices have been studies using my favs lol
find yourself a reference, copy the proportions and then once you have the sketch figured out, draw your favourite character (or object or animal or literally anything you enjoy drawing) on top of it instead to keep it fun for you.
i don't super love asks like this just because "fundamentals" is such a broad term, and i need more specificity to give advice😭😭but if you want to practice any fundamentals like anatomy, perspective, lighting, colours, proportions, composition, etc, then i think this advice still holds up, so I hope it gives you a direction to go in. If it makes you feel any better i've never bothered just drawing boxes and nothing else either. I've always tried to apply it to a subject i actually want to draw first. It's probably made it harder for me in the long run to study, but it keeps me enjoying the process and keeps me motivated for art, so i'd say it's decent if you dont mind struggling a little throughout the process lol. don't draw things you don't want to. make studying fun
for more specificity, you can send me your art & i can try to give advice/resources on what fundamentals you should focus on studying, if you're comfortable enough to send me a dm or smt lol. Otherwise i'm sorry i can't give better advice lol🙏🙏
What kind of 13 cards merch would you like?
Something I could draw, of course.
I don't plan to print anything, I just want to draw it and make it publicly available.
I want to practice designing merch, it seems pretty fun, but I don't have many ideas. Also my ego is hungry and wants me to do something that other people will have. You can even dm me to send references or something
would you be willing to draw my selfship /silly :3
I prolly should’ve put more info in the ask box description, but I need more specific than that or idk wym TvT and yes, as long as it’s not too complicated/inappropriate
