RUMOR: Top Company Executives Spotted at MNET Headquarters

some pictures have been circulating around social media of lime entertainment ceo kwon jaehyun, sr media ceo seo ran, and studio delta ceo yoon jihun meeting with mnet executives at the broadcasting station’s headquarters. sure, it’s not exactly uncommon for entertainment company staff to have meetings with mnet, but for the ceos of the three hottest companies in kpop to all be having meetings there at the same time? well, people are talking.
of course the first thought is that one (or all?) of the companies are going to debut their new group soon. but if you remember a post from another user a few months ago, you’d know that lime entertainment isn’t in any position to be debuting any groups. they burned all of their bridges with their boy trainees and any of the good girl trainees are in prizm now, so it’s probably not that.
we know something big is coming, but we can only speculate exactly what. our best guess? since it’s meetings with mnet, there has to be some sort of television program involved. we’re not sure if the companies are working on a joint documentary about the idol industry, a talent competition program, or some sort of survival show. of course, it’s also possible that they’re just guest judges on a new episode of i can see your voice or there’s a new variety show in the works that they’ll star on. we’d love to hear your thoughts on what you think it could be as well!
in the meantime, we’ll just have to be patient and wait to see if anything comes of these meetings. we’re pretty sure there will be some sort of announcement in the next few weeks, especially since there’s been reports that the meetings have been getting more and more frequent in the last few days!
