These tree's were ballsy.
Found this gang of trees with enormous burls on the trunks. They look like a tumor on the outside, but inside the grain is mixed up and creates unique patterns. These formations are rare, being due to a type of stress on the tree, and are highly prized for their beauty. #washington #pnw #rainforest #beach2 #pacific #coast #adventure (at Olympic National Forest)
