Mother Nature is tough and tenacious. This little potato plant was growing up through at least six inches of compost covered with two layers of cardboard. It was growing out of a sliver of discarded potato. Nature doesn't ask permission, or wait for "perfect conditions." In this episode, adventurer Rory Southworth goes up against record-breaking hiker, James Forrest, in the final battle, to discover who will be crowned champion. Shot on location in Scotland's epic Glencoe Mountain Region, by a passionate multi-talented micro-crew, who battled extreme weather conditions, in order to document the action (full list of credits below). Although every race posed it's own, unique shooting challenges, due to extreme weather conditions, this was our most challenging one. We were given a short shooting window of 2 hours, during which the weather cleared enough for it to be safe on the mountain. However, a while, the shoot had to be called off, due to safety issues. Luckily, due to the passion and determination of an amazing crew and production team, we just about managed to capture everything we needed, in order to make the film.
