I don't know what career to pursue since I'm not good at anything so that's why I want to do IB but I'm super insecure and have no self-esteem to speak of so I'm too scared to fill in my application form which needs to be handed in this Friday. If I do choose the IB route I think I'd do HL English, French and Geography and SL Environmental Systems, Maths Studies and Film/Anthropology. If I choose the A-Level route I'd do French, English, Government&Politics and Geography. (CONT)
Yo!!!! I’m always one to say HEY BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND YOU CAN TOTALLY DO IB, because I believe that anyone can do IB if they just really put their mind to it! At the end of the day, I would look at it like this: Which am I going to regret more? Going into IB and not being able to handle it? Or going into A-levels and finding them easy/wondering if I could’ve been able to IB? Only after looking at it can you really decide, and it’s going to have to be a decision you make on your own. I’ll always vote for IB and vote for challenging yourself, but that’s because that’s what I would do. If I am not taking on the hardest task, with something that affects my future at least, I often feel as if I’m not doing enough. Then again, as stressed as I get sometimes (like right now with exams!) I still would rather be stressed than be in classes where I’m not being challenged. Think about it. Read up on both and see what other people saw as pros and cons. Then if nothing else helps, pick a side for heads and a side for tails then flip a coin. If nothing else, that’ll help you figure out what you REALLY want. Good luck!!!!!!!
