The spikes on JSRF Beat's headphones kind of resemble soundwaves, and since JSR3 Beat doesn't have soundwaves on his goggles, I figured he should have them on his headphones instead.

I like to imagine the soundwave spikes would grow when he's excited or shrink when he's feeling down.
