The official currency of Beauland is the "Beauland Button" (BB), consisting of sewing/embroidery buttons of various colours and materials. The size if the button does not determine its value; it is the colour and/or material of the button that determines its worth in Beauland. The value of the colours of Beauland Buttons is as follows:
Purple: 500 BB (5 dollars)
Black: 1,000 BB (10 dollars)
Brown/wood: 2,000 (20 dollars)
Mother-of-pearl: 5,000 BB (50 dollars)
"Fancy" (inticate designs, multicolour, rare material, precious stones, commercial characters, animal shapes, etc.): 10,000 BB (100 dollars)
Beauland Buttons, the legal currency of Beauland, are not legally recognized as currency in other nations, and therefore should not, cannot, and will not be exchanged by any Beauland Citizen for any legal currency in any other country. The Citizens of Beauland may trade our legal currency amongst themselves to buy goods from each other, but should refrain from exchanging the Beauland Buttons with each other against the legal currency they have and/or acquire from their internationally, legally recognized nations. Exchanging Beauland Buttons in this way may result in disputes or legal consequences on the parts of other internationally recognized nations. We, the Governing Body of Beauland, are not responsible for a citizen's improper trade and exchange of Beauland Buttons.*
*do not use Beauland Buttons as "real" money; although BBs are recognized as legal** currency amongst Beauland Citizens, they should not be used for actual purchases. Remember that our micronation is not legally recognized by other governing bodies, so trading BBs, which are seen as "false currency", for goods and services outside of our country may lead to international legal issues. Any Citizens who trade BBs and experience any conflicts should email the Governmental Body of Beauland at [email protected] so the Branches may organize and commence a public trial to settle the conflict legally** and peacefully.
**legally as recognized by the Governing Body of Beauland and not by any other nation or international/other governing body
