Beautiful Desolation by The Brotherhood is a science fiction exploration puzzler styled as an homage to old-fashioned point-and-click adventure games. The story is set in a distant future, as you play a man searching a futuristic high tech post-apocalyptic landscape inspired by the scenery of Africa, in search of his lost brother, encountering and negotiating with characters of varying helpfulness, solving puzzles, and occasionally battling giant scorpions and rocket-equipped robots, as you do.

The game is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, and has English audio and text translation into multiple languages. A DLC and the game's original soundtrack are available heavily discounted as part of the GOG Summer Sale event.
