I’m almost done with my FIT Beauty Industry Essentials Certification! It’s taught me so much about the beauty industry and has helped me to work towards a career in the industry. What I learned that surprised me the most was how different writing is for different mediums like print, online, and social media. I loved learning about product development and what the process is really like since that’s what I want to work in! If you're interested in working in the beauty industry, I definitely recommend this program!

Stanning forStunna!

Singer Rihanna made a huge splash this year with her cosmetics line, even winning an Allure Breakthrough award this month. But while most of the focus has been on her inclusive (40 shades!) foundation, I think more attention should be paid to the beauty that is the Stunna Lip Paint. First off, what a beautiful package, a glass prism is topped with a rose gold top. It resembles a nail polish. But the fact that it’s a lip product makes one feel like a starlet from the 40’s dabbing the watery formula on your lips. Instead of the typical doe foot applicator, the tip is a unique curve made to either hug the curve of your lips or line them with precision. Rihanna has recently introduced 3 nudes and a jet black version of the matte lip paint. I can’t wait to see what she come up with next!
