“I don't remember my parents,” Lily said to Eve, “they died when I was three. My Aunt took me in and raised me up until the vampires attacked our home. She was killed helping me escape. People told me I am cursed because of the magic within me, they say that's the reason everyone I love dies. My Aunt told me I was blessed with the power to heal others, she said I should never let anyone take the gift I was given away, she taught me to use it to help others. But sporadically I think maybe if I wasn't born with this power people wouldn't hunt me down for it, they wouldn't have killed my parents to get me. But I realize it was not my fault, it took me time to understand this, but it was never my fault that my parents were killed. Just like it was not your fault that your mother and sister were killed. This is not your weight to carry, sweet girl, let It go.”

“It doesn't matter if you don't see me as one of them!” He yelled. “I am one of them, Father! I am a vampire! I will always be a vampire. One day, I'll get to sit there and watch my entire family die, I have no choice but to. I didn't get a choice. I have to live with this thing I never asked for. You all will die, and I'll be all alone again, it's inevitable.”

“I am Evelyn Luciana Ashford!” Eve screamed. “I am what I make myself! I have survived things you could never imagine. I have had to fight to survive time and time again, I've fought for where I am now, I'll be damned if I let someone tell me how I should live my life.” She flipped off the man.
My ocs for my original story that I have yet to write much of. It's probably stupid to say they came to me in a dream but that's what happened, I had this dream one night about these characters and now they live rent free in my head.
