i actually wanna expand on the sick thing 

basically because of his mutation bobby’s resting body temperature is really low, roughly 50 degrees f, and his body has difficulty sustaining and surviging and once or twice a year he gets really sick and is stuck in bed for almost a week with a fever while his body tires to maintain such a low temperature.  he also gets extremely sick when he loses his powers (like with a suppression collar) and he basically goes into shock with really bad chills and a super high fever.

So there’s a line in Joy Ride (which I’m watching right now to prepare) in which Steven says “I like all basic shapes” and I’m just like well THAT’S ABOUT TO FUCKING CHANGE CHILD considering how the chapter after this one is gonna instill a pretty continual fear of triangles in all four of our Mystery Kids, for obvious reasons

I imagine that both of them are. I mean I want to make this as kitschy as possible like the prince was in love with the head of the royal guard and was all prepared to marry him or whatever and then Shit Went Down and now he’s a little ender lad roaming the forest foraging with no memories of the castle other than the vague idea of living there and possibly dying there, and Maine is a big ass mushroom centaur cow man roaming a labyrinth and the forest outside of it and seeing this smol ender puts a pang through him but he’s not sure why
