I love how every review of cats 2019 is like "this sucks and is an absolute Shitshow. Skimbleshanks slaps tho."

This is basically my third time trying to write this story, and however much changes I will always have this moment:
“There’s a page ripped out of an Entertainment Weekly magazine. It’s about Stargate.”
“Like the TV show?”
Kerri set the other papers aside. “Exactly like the TV show. I wonder if he’s a writer,” she said slowly.
“Oh?” Anna sounded a little confused, which was just as well. It was how Kerri felt. “Why do you think that?”
“Because he’s taking notes.”
“On Stargate?”
“Looks like it.” Indeed, in the margins of the magazine article, Leigh’s characteristic scribbles were clearly added. Again, Kerri could see what looked like numbers put into equations she didn’t recognize.
Someone smarter than me should write about how The Handmaiden (2016) juxtaposes the male and female gaze and how that ties into its themes of violence and freedom
do you ever see a piece of fanart from a fandom you're not a part of and just get the urge to learn about it so you can allow yourself to like the fanart
