Is this some kind of joke to you??? That may be a grilled cheese by the letter of the law, but in your heart you know that’s a lie. This makes a mockery of all that grilled cheese and tomato soup stand for.
COUNTERPOINT: several years ago for my birthday party I did an all finger food menu and one of the options was little glasses of tomato soup with crispy slices of grilled cheese sandwiches laid across the top. It looked pretty much like that picture and it was the most popular thing at the party and everyone who knows how much I love grilled cheese thought it was a perfect and adorable party food at a party for me. People still bring it up.
So not a joke at all! More like a thing a lot of people fondly associate with me and I think that’s pretty awesome. ❤️🧀🍞
