And Clifford Makes Three: Santa Suit Shenanigans

Because Sherlolly has momentarily smashed my heart into a million pieces, have some Paric silliness :)

This is another Clifford fic/drabble for becausesometimesiobsess who suggested a follow-up to 'The Antler Conspiracy' that included Santa hats. Again, not going to be posted on ff.net - even though there's not a lot of Clifford in it - but I hope you like :)

Santa Suit Shenanigans

He was going to kill her.

Eric eyed the Santa costume spread out on his bed contemptuously, he should have known better than to have a shower when she was plotting something. All of his other clothes were gone, it was either the suit or nothing.

Whilst he had nothing against spending the day naked, today was the day that Pam had set aside to take their Christmas photo. They always dressed to match and, as far as he was concerned, her naked form was for his eyes only.

Pam was well aware of his views on that particular subject and she’d obviously been counting on it.

For a brief moment he considered calling her bluff, but the thought of Bill seeing Pam naked – even just in a photograph – was enough to make him change his mind.

He put the suit on, with very bad grace.

He was still grumbling about it as he made his way down the stairs and entered the lounge room. He was greeted by the sight of Clifford dressed in a dog-sized Santa suit and lying on the couch.

Clifford didn’t even raise his head, he just looked up at Eric with a mournful expression.

“Ho-ho-ho,” Eric said drily and Clifford sighed heavily in response.

“There you are,” Pam said merrily as she breezed into the room.

Any misgivings Eric had about the Christmas photo disappeared as he took in the sight of Pam dressed as Santa’s Little Helper.

Even Clifford brightened a little at the sight of her.

“Are you ready?” she asked absently as she checked the settings on the camera and adjusted some tinsel on the Christmas tree.

Eric made no response and she turned to find him eyeing her appreciatively, “Do I pass the inspection?” she teased, fixing one of her black leather, elbow length gloves.

Eric looked up at her with a smirk, “And what exactly do you help Santa with?”

Pam shot him a smirk of her own, “You behave for the photos and I’ll show you.”

Eric grinned, “I always behave.”

Pam rolled her eyes as she took a seat on the couch next to Clifford, “Of course you do.”

Eric winked at her as he sat on the armrest of the couch. He rested his arm across the back of the couch in a gesture that was meant to be casual, but fooled no one.

“Smile,” Pam ordered, smiling at the camera as she wrapped an arm around Clifford.

All of Eric’s misgivings returned as he faced the camera and he attempted to arrange his face into an expression that Pam would deem acceptable. At the last moment, Pam placed her hand on his knee and he forgot about anything else.

Hence why he had a rather stupid grin on his face in the photo, Pam doubled over with laughter as she looked at it.

“That was a dirty trick,” Eric told her, pulling the camera out of her hands.

Pam shrugged a shoulder, “You asked me how I helped Santa,” she said innocently.

Eric glared at her before turning back to the camera and attempting to delete the photo. He frowned as he realised that she’d locked it.

“Unlock it,” he ordered, tossing the camera at her; she caught it easily.

“But I like it,” she protested with a small pout.

“Pam…”

“Eric.”

“I could order you.”

“You could,” she agreed, “but then you’d have to take another photo.”

Pam used his brief hesitation to her advantage. “Please Eric?” she purred, looking up at him with big doe eyes, “It’s just a photo…” she added as she slinked towards him.

Eric felt himself begin to waver as she pressed herself against him, “Besides, I promised to be good if you were…” she whispered in his ear.

Eric gave in with a growl as he scooped her up and shot out of the room at vampire speed.

Clifford took their exit as tacit permission to wriggle out of his Santa suit and go bury it somewhere in the garden.

WAhhh!! I love it. He he. Clifford covered in kisses. :) I love the Clifford fics. I hope anons aren’t stopping you from posting to ff.net cause these are always amazing.

Aw, thank you - that's so sweet :) Um...yeah, I still post 'serious' Paric fics on ff.net, but apparently Clifford (and Peaches) offends some people. So I just post the Clifford fics here, where people - like your lovely self - appreciate him :)
