Hands up who watched Skint on Channel 4? Not me, actually. Nope, hands are staying firmly in my pockets. Any program offering ‘insight’ into ‘the benefits system’ and/or ‘broken Britain’ brings me out in a nervous sweat and I avoid any social media sites as friends and followers come out of the woodwork to get their rage on, hurling insults and the people on TV and the government simultaneously. If you ever want to find out exactly the kind of people you keep company with, just wait for one of these programs; judgments, swear words and arguments a plenty.
