Posted @withregram • @freedom.for.pitties UPDATE ON NORTH CAROLINA SHELTER SAVE** This is what freedom looks like .😍 Our President Jen & our dear friend Jana loaded 21 dogs onto the freedom bus at 7am sharp this morning.This morning, the inner world of 2 of our shelter partners, & all the eyes of hope, fear, & tail wags, behind the cages, changed for the better. These pictures of freedom show you how your contributions save lives every day. Together we give. Our shelter partners needed us. They were in desperate need of rescues to step up & help them.They're overwhelmed, running out of time & space for the animals every day.They were heart-broken about what is to come for all of the animals that would not have a chance at being saved. Many of the shelters were forced to close their doors to the public, which means fewer visits & animals were not being adopted. Many of these animals had no other options but to be put down or spend several more years in the shelter system. Our fundraising efforts were a big success for these saves. Because of you, all of their medical care & travel are almost close to being taken care of.Thank you for ongoing support & generosity. It is a true testament to the solidarity we share with all of you.
