Making splits the next two days off of the fast swarmers I've not been able to split down because of Earth Day happenings this last weekend (crappy time conflict ). Always remind myself that I need to make sure if I'm making nucs up from lower frame swarm cells like this one that I give enough room (shim, deep rail, stacked boxes etc) so that all the hard work in those long beautiful queen cells doesn't get squished and ruined in a fraction of a second. #morehurrylessspeed #bees #beekeeping #swarmseason #queen #queencells #peanuts #beepeanuts (at Hazelwood)
