Dojo rivalry | Chika & Shura

What the hell was she thinking, opening her own dojo? Shura should have known very well that the Haninozukas were opening their own dojo, it being their main business. Being a Kirigakure, a cousin of the Haninozukas, she would’ve been more than welcome to work for them, and possibly even be one of the head positions. Although, as much as Chika would hate to admit it, his father would have probably put her as the leader instead of him.

Still, Chika was on a mission. He had to prove that the Haninozuka dojo was much better than the Kirigakure dojo. He had to prove that Shura would’ve been better off with them. He had to prove that he was better than his cousin. It was all about honour.

With daggers hidden in his sleeve, Chika approached the other dojo. It was in a district far from home, but it would be easy to find a cab once he found victory. He knocked on the door, and waited for the girl to answer.

“Shura-nii, I challenge you to a battle!” he called out, hoping that she would answer the door faster. There was no point in surprising her. It wouldn’t have worked anyways, and it was a cheap advantage to have.
