Of all of the spritework done for TS!UnderSwap (Tiles, HUDs, characters (battle, text, overworld), etc.), what is your favorite contribution to the project?

It probably isn't this one, I just thought it was funny.

Does the compassion and ruthless route name changes imply that there's more to the routes than just sparing or killing everyone?

Yep! As stated in our recent May 2023 Progress Report, our intentions with these new names were because:

Undertale never had any official route names, with "Pacifist" and "Genocide" created and universally accepted by the community.

Our "main two" routes differ from Undertale's -- we want to have names which better reflect the direction we're taking, and distinguish them from Undertale's story events.

We aren't going to give exact details on what is different with our routes, as opposed to Undertale's, since that would spoil things. Despite that, we hope these will encourage speculation!

A friendly reminder that people aren't required to use these names, and are still allowed to call our routes whatever they want -- we just wanted to have unique names for internal (development material and in-game files) and official documentation (i.e. wiki, devlogs, etc.) usage.

Will bugerpant appear in multiple grillby's locations due to him being the only delivery boy in the entire underground?

What has become of the greatest monster of all time, glyde?

I guess the general question actually is: how do you intend to handle the 3 secret bosses of undertale?

Glyde and So Sorry were the only secret bosses of Undertale! Since we plan to have our own "secret" bosses, and we don't want to rehash these two, they aren't going to have fights here -- though we plan to have both of them cameo in one way or another for fans of them!

Since Muffet had a more major role in Undertale (with her own major battle, story role, etc.), and swapped with Grillby in Underswap, she'll also be more prominent here (though not as a recurring/"major" character) -- she's the leader of the Spider Scouts, who hold bake sales in Stardust Woods to raise funds for spiders!

Considering Flowey managed to get across the underground by burrowing, does Temmie do the same thing, or something else entirely?

Another pre-demo release 2020 ask!

While Flowey had the ability to burrow, there was only one of him.

The Temmies can't burrow, but they have numbers :)

I feel like there's more to Flowey here, because alot of his whole edgy teenage phase as a flower came from traumatic experiences in Undertale, sooooo...

I want anyone reading this to know that there are times where we've gotten speculative asks that I just kind of smile evilly at.

This ask was from December 2019, an entire year before the demo released -- so the Flowey reveal in Ruined Home was completely unknown by then.

So asks like this -- I just smile and wait :)
