looking at the loving side Bj suits Lydia On the sexual side, Dolores, what do you think?

Hhm 🤔. I think we haven't seen Lydia in that context yet to know for sure. Betelgeuse definitely favors Lydia above any other woman, presently. It doesn't matter whether he checks out other sexy ladies, Lydia is clearly special to him. As a matter of fact, he respects her in a way he doesn't respect any other female (insta-pregnancy/Beetlebaby scene aside, I don't think I've seen Betelgeuse grope or force himself on Lydia ever, not even in the first movie where he was arguably wilder, especially in a sexual sense).

He might suit her on the sexual side as much as he suits Delores, though, we just don't know how Lydia is in that context.

As for Lydia, I'd say that she might actually suit him better than Delores in both a romantic and sexual way, considering that he truly does love her. When there's love involved, a wild fun time in bed gains a whole new level of intimacy and meaning that wouldn't be present in a time spent with someone who doesn't truly love you. Lust is not love. Delores would have sucked out his soul (pun intended lol) and left him dry. She might have given him a fun and wild time, but she was giving him her body without giving him her heart. I want to believe that if Betelgeuse and Lydia get to the point of actually marrying and being intimate, that they both will be in love with each other and therefore, whether Lydia is gentler than Delores in bed or not, being intimate with her will feel worlds better than being with Delores ever felt for Betelgeuse.

And I think that, because he loves Lydia and respects her, Betelgeuse will meet Lydia where she's at in her intimacy and he will be who she needs, both physically and lovingly/romantically.

I have this headcanon, though, that Lydia will match Betelgeuse's freak in bed lol. She might even surprise him, as he will surprise her. I headcanon that Lydia's never had it as good as she'll have it with Betelgeuse. Fingers crossed for a scene like that between them in movie three 🤭. Highly doubt it though, but a girl can hope. Beetlebabes headcanons because I can’t sleep

Lydia sometimes tries to scare BJ and it usually works everytime.

BJ tries to get Lydia back for scaring him but she rarely jumps when he scares her but sometimes she does because she likes seeing him happy.

Sometimes Lydia sings thinking no one can hear but BJ always hears her and loves hearing her sing.

BJ used to try preparing breakfast for Lydia but after he almost set the kitchen on fire he’s only allow to make her cereal and anything that doesn’t need heating up.

Once Lydia fell asleep on BJ while they were watching Toy story 4 together, he also ended up falling asleep, but woke up shortly after the film had ended, since Lydia was asleep he carried her upstairs to their bed and then get in bed next to her.

BJ woke up the next morning to Lydia hugging him.

Lydia and BJ both never decide on what movie or genre to watch when they have movie nights so they have a jar with the title of a movie and what genre it is, they add to it quite often since they both love movies.

BJ likes to whisper really bad jokes to Lydia while she’s trying to sleep in the end, she doesn’t sleep for over an hour because her and BJ keep each other up by telling each other the worst dad jokes they can think of BJ using starts it but whenever Lydia does it he bursts out laughing because some of her jokes are worse than his.

Lydia is a blanket hog in bed.

BJ got a soda-stream and made fizzy milk, he enjoyed it.

BJ made Lydia try the fizzy milk, she hated it.

Random Beetlebabes headcanons 😍

Lydia usually doesn't sleep until early hours because she gets worried that something might happen to BJ, he usually sleep next to her though be she still gets worried.

BJ gets anxious when Lydia is away even if she's told him she's just going out for an hour he gets anxious that something has happened to her.

On warm summer nights BJ and Lydia go on the roof and just lay underneath the stars all night and stay up to watch the sunrise.

BJ likes to have Netflix dates with Lydia and they usually just watch shitty horror movies all day.

Sometimes BJ and Lydia have pranks wars but Lydia usually wins them.
