Black eyed beets
A great way to display rock and bone collection

have some guys
I found some eastern Hercules beetles today! Does anyone know anything about these guys? I know they are native to the eastern US, but i found like 20 of them all on one dead cherry blossom tree. My neighborhood has japanese cherry blossoms and theyre about to bloom, but i am curious to know if these guys are harmful to the trees? They were only around one tree, and it was a dead one. The beetles may be native but the trees are not.
Regardless, theyre so cute! I am going to check back tomorrow and see if any are dead, cause they seemed to be on their way out. If any are, i want to preserve them and hang them up somewhere! Any advice as to how to do that is welcome!
