Don't get me wrong I LOVE Thriftshop and I love his new album The Heist. I just don't think Thriftshop is his best song. He has songs that are so much deeper than his Billboard chart single. Wings is a song that gets me every time, yet nobody is familiar with it.
Nevertheless I LOVE Macklemore. And I'm so happy that he has gone from a 20-dollar-a-concert Seattle icon to a billboard chart rap star. I remember seeing him for free at my college during Husky days a couple of years ago; it's so weird to think about where he is now.
I love you Macklmore. You give Seattle a good name.
