You can spit an encyclopedia of knowledge at me, and you'll put me to sleep if you aren't actively trying to build the knowledge and skills of those around you. I don't care about your degree if you aren't leveraging what you learned to make a positive difference in world. And I could give two shits about your looks or your title if you aren't supporting others. What impresses me are those who 1) treat people kindly, 2) have been through "it," and come out the otherside a better human being, and 3) those who regularly pay it forward to make a positive difference in the lives of others. There are too many people out there being hailed as "successful" because they have money and power. But if you look under the hood, you'll find the souls of those they crushed along the way to their "success."
