As often as he twisted it and turned it within his grasp, he could make no sense of it. Every possible angle had been explored again and again but he was still none the wiser. Kael had found the thing on the ground, an orb of sorts, and immediately picked it up to get a better look. As far as he could tell, it was just stone or gem of sorts, something beautiful enough to consider pocketing. Kael was disorientated enough as it was without getting caught up staring at things he didn't understood. The sound of someone approaching, or simply passing by perhaps (a more likely option given that he wasn't really doing much to make his presence known anyway), was met with an immediate turn on his heels. He held his arm out before pausing, the consequences of his sudden movements suddenly weighing on him. However, having given the stranger a good look up and down, he assumed she wasn't a malicious figure. "I'm sorry", said Kael, uncertainty lacing each and every word, "But do you maybe know what this thing is supposed to be?"
