Since they are my OCs, of course I have to talk a little about them. More under the cut if you're interested.
Let's start with the girl. Her name is Candace and she's an 1000+ demon who was formerly known as the demon lord. In my universe, no demons are born, they are all created à la Demon Slayer/Muzan. She used to be a human and was recently awakened from a long slumber after being sealed to put a stop to her evil acts.
The catch here is that she has lost all of her memories, meaning, even though she knows she's a demon (courtesy of the few followers that survived from her time as the demon lord and who were waiting for her to wake up) she acts completely different to what she used to during her time as an evil overlady. She's more naive and innocent and, honestly, quite silly, and sometimes is even afraid of her followers or herself due to not understanding their/her dark powers.
The second one is the boy. His name is Julien and he's a completely ordinary human. He was living in a village with his younger sister, Elaine, until one day, the village was attacked due to people targeting the little sister (there's a reason for this but I don't want to make it too long here). Candace was passing by after escaping her followers for a moment, and decided to help the village on a whim, meeting Julien and falling in love with him at first sight.
What follows is Candace sticking to him like gum while Julien tries to maintain a respectful distance. She invites him and Elaine to stay with her and her demon followers for protection (actually, she only wants to spend more time with him) and after accepting due to wanting to have a more stable life instead of running from place to place to escape the people targeting the little sister, they get to know each other a little more.
There are, of course, a lot more to the two of them as well as many more characters, but since these two are the mains (more Candace than Julien) I wanted to talk about them first, as well as have art of them.
