x|: The meaning of reclaiming MLK Day is about rebranding the image and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., which overtime, mainstream has sanitized by use of his less offensive and all-encompassing quotes. Dr. King was a political activist and it is misrepresenting to refer to him as a "civil rights leader".
