|Knight Time Stroll|
The night was lovely. As much as Felyn’mice liked the day, the way that the light warmed her body and made her feel energized, it stung her eyes. She was built for the underground, for the artificial light and the sprawling cities down there. The moon was the closest she could get to that. The surface folks might have developed ways of lighting the night, but it was so different from her underground home. Only the night helped to ease that feeling.
It wasn’t that often though, that Felyn ran across people during her nighttime strolls. In her forest, she was completely alone, but out here, in the cities, there were a few people every once and a while. Most of them thought her an easy target, as she was not clearly armed. As such, when she heard footsteps, Felyn’mice tensed a little. She looked over her shoulder in the direction of the stranger. She seemed pretty small, but most people were small to Felyn.
“How here to admire the full moon too,” she asked, her voice gaining an almost threatening tone. Her body language was pleasant, but Felyn’mice didn’t do well with people she judged as a dangerous. Maybe she should have waited to see if the stranger was truly dangerous before making her comments.
