In the midst of the nice weather, me and a few friends headed into town to explore the local bars.
Bootleggers - It had an American vibe. This was the first time we have visited this bar. Absolutely brilliant. Atmosphere amazing . Great crowd mostly over 30 so good for us. Only downside is toilets are at very top of building. Outside space great. Apparently this is one of the few places in town that sell Blue Moon citrus beer. I ordered an espresso martini and my friend ordered an Apple cider
Love & Death - Very small bar on Ann Street, has 2 levels and outside sitting area. We ate and drank on the first floor of the bar. I had a pear vodka with club lemon and my friend had a french martini. Decor was lovely, staff attentive and food nice. Quite expensive however, cocktails were ยฃ9 each.
Union Street Bar - This was a 10 minute walk from Bootleggers. We sat in the rooftop bar and had 3 rounds of drinks here. LGBTQ friendly bar, friendly and attentive staff. Reasonably priced. Again, we ordered cider and espresso martinis.
