I finally found that premium Belgian wine! There was literally only one on the giant list. This 2016 Clos d’opeeuw from a 1 hectare walled vineyard in Belgium was a Chardonnay driven wine made in classic Burgundian style. A very nice wine and one that the Belgians should be proud of. Have you ever had Belgian wine? I am in Belgium and every restaurant we have been in so far hasn’t had any. The waiters have told us that the Belgian wine is bad. But I’ve read that there are some premium wines coming out of this country.
