~ aside from her potential ghost lover, this is how Bellatrix spends her days
As the night went on, Lorelei stared out at her friends. She watched as Hayden and her mom were having a very intense conversation that ended with them both laughing hysterically. Elizabeth was in the corner with her two friends and Devonne, her and him holding hands and smiling at each other. It made Lorelei want to gag but also made her really happy. She looked over to find Drew looking at her, he smiled softly and waved, which she happily reciprocated.
Lorelei felt content. She got the job, she got the guy, she has the best family, and she knows her dad is watching over her somewhere.
Elizabeth was happy with Dev, she got into the teaching program at her school with a 3.8 GPA and a great recommendation from her teacher. She’s only optimistic about the future.
Bellatrix was finally starting to move on. She hasn’t talked to Van, but she’s enjoyed reminiscing with her girls. She just finished her residency at the local hospital and spends her free time working at free clinics.
The End... (for now)
“Are you two having fun?” Bellatrix asks her daughters as she notices one of them starts to pout and the other looks annoyed.
“Mom you’re getting along with our friends better than we are.” Elizabeth tells her mother, noticing she’s had quite a few drinks. “You even told Nkiru about your first love, you haven’t told us anything about him! We don’t even know his name.” She continues to pout. “You’ve had enough drinks in you, spill.” “Well, I’ll tell you, that he had the same name as your father, Jason. I met him about the same age you two met Drew and Devonne, but we reunited in college which is where the real story begins, so...”
Say hello to Bellatrix Noble’s first love story!
Her and Jason were best friends, inseparable growing up, but when she unintentionally drops him after they hit high school, he holds a bit of a grudge. 3 years later and they reunite as they realize they live just across the hall from each other their freshman year of college. Bellatrix learns that Jason is no where near the guy he used to be, and she’s not sure she likes the new him. Jason tells everyone he doesn’t hold a grudge against Belle, but the way he acts around her says differently. What happens between these two when there’s nowhere to hide on a small campus with only a few feet of distance between them? Wait and find out!
“Do you think we should ask her about that guy she met?” Elizabeth asks Lorelei as they wait for their mom to come back with some snacks. “Van? Hell no, last time we talked about it she just shook her head wildly, my guess is they’re over.” “You know, I always find myself thinking about that one guy from college she doesn’t talk about.” Elizabeth says, remember all the times her mother would say she had two great loves of her life. “Yeah, I want to hear that story so badly. We’ve been hearing about him since we were kids.”
Lorelei and Elizabeth took a much needed trip to visit their mother. Lorelei sees her every Sunday but Elizabeth has been busy with her part time job she hasn’t had anytime to visit. They all went to visit Jason in the morning and went to grab some lunch at the shop Elizabeth works at. It was quite the trip for Bellatrix but she’d give anything to spend more time with her girls.
“I am so proud of you Lorelei. I can’t even tell you how many people I’ve told about your new position.” Bellatrix laughs. “And oh my, you’re father would have been over the moon. He always hated that he didn’t excel more in school and he was always so proud of how smart you were.” She smiles. “He would have been so happy.” Lorelei smiles brightly at her mother, happy that she can speak so fondly of her dad with a smile on her face and no tears. “Thanks mom, that means a lot. I wish he was here to experience it with me, but I know he’s watching somewhere clapping around like an idiot pointing to me wildly telling all his spirit friends “That’s my daughter!”” Bellatrix laughs and smiles happily, glad they can talk about him too.
Introducing Baby Bellatrix!
Bellatrix was originally the main character of a book of mine and I used the sims to create her character to give me a better physical representation of the character. She ended up becoming so much more when she became my favorite character and gave me my two other favorite characters. There’s a whole long backstory that I’ve already written as a novel with her and Jason and I decided if I have enough time that I’d share it! So here’s a little bit of what Bellatrix looked like in her freshman year of college. She wears less makeup, has blue hair, a little thinner but still her usual thick shape, dresses differently, etc.
“Van, you gotta help me a little bit you’re really fucking heavy.” *grunts* “Fine, I’ll do it myself.” She hoists him up and plops him down on the bed and she somehow manages to get him under the blanket and comfortable. He’s going in and out of sleep but at least he’s not throwing up. She decides to grab some of Jason’s old clothes she had lying around for him to change into when he wakes up. While she walks over to the side of her bed to put them down she starts to get more upset than she thought she would.
“I know he wants me to be happy. I know he does, and you’re a lot of fun. I just, can’t seem to forget him you know.” She starts to speak, as if Van is listening. “We were together for 20 years, and then he was just gone.” She starts to sniffle and the tears are coming.
“I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to love someone the way I loved him.” Then she starts to cry. She makes her way over to the couch in her living room, and cries herself to sleep. Which isn’t all that foreign to Bellatrix.
Bellatrix had visited Jason that evening, mourning him more and more. She got more upset than she thought and sat on the ground for a while, then a familiar figure approached.
“Funny seeing you here.” Van smiles at her lightly, Bellatrix could tell in the tone of his voice he was upset and just putting on a smile. She stood up quickly and walked over to him. “Yeah I’m seeing you everywhere nowadays.” She smiles back. “If you don’t mind me asking, who are you visiting?” He asks, curiosity laced through his voice. “My husband.” She says quickly. “You?” “My sister.” Bellatrix nods her head, not knowing what to say next.
(omg she looks so pretty here I’m gonna die)
“Would you wanna grab a drink?” She asks him quickly, knowing that Jason would want her to enjoy herself. It’s been almost 2 years now, she should at least try. He smiles at her lightly, “Sure.”
Both of them walk over to the bar, both seeming reluctant, but excited.
