In a ceremony at the White House today, President Trump awarded the Medal of Honor to former Army Staff Sgt. David G. Bellavia, who is the first living Iraq War veteran to receive the recognition. Bellavia was honored for his actions in the bloodiest battle of the Iraq War, the Second Battle of Fallujah, which also happened to be his 29th birthday.
