Literally have no time to post anything else, but because I'm dying from lack of internet interaction (had surgery, wasn't feeling well enough for interneting but still missed it lol), can I just say...
I'm kind of irritated that the devs went with "Kronstadt" for Ashveil's hometown.
I'm sure it's going to be in reference to the Kronstadt Rebellion or the destruction of Kronstadt's church, which they'll possibly mirror to fighting back against Zulo, but like... would it have killed the dev team to pick a Spanish town?
It's not like Spain didn't have its own perfectly historical civil war to pull inspiration from, or, you know, a very complex history with struggles for independence... Or that Spain's first recorded serial killer claimed he was a werewolf or anything, nope. Not at all.
It feels like the devs locked themselves into the Don Quixote reference when they name dropped La Mancha way back in 1.0, but didn't actually want to invest any effort in researching Spain otherwise. Really disappointing and a missed opportunity, if you ask me.
Like we're not even going to get to see La Mancha fight the Knight of the White Moon???
Be consistent in your character references for more than two seconds challenge failed once again, Hoyo. Once again. 😔
