New Scream // Turnover
"Don’t bluff me," - Bleu J.
I decided to do the Draw This Again meme I’ve been seeing around on tumblr and deviantArt. The time span between these is over a year and a half. I used the same colors as I did the first time by just selecting the color. I think it’s really cool how better I had gotten at drawing people. I still need to clean it up and get my proportions down bUT I can say with confidence that I’m really happy about this.
For the redraw on the top right, I drew the outline in Photoshop but then the trial ended, so I colored it in Fire Alpaca. For the picture on the bottom right, I drew and colored it all in Fire Alpaca.
These guys are from a comic I’m doing called The Lost Bird and the backstory is embarrassing for me but it deals with this kid who was born a bird and he has to find a way to learn to love himself and fit in. It just sounds so cheesy and afterwards, it gets insane. I’m sorry if you’re ever subject to reading it. I doubt I’ll ever post the whole thing publicly lol. From the top left to bottom right we have, Sergio, Tyler, Ben (nickname’s Tom, long story), and Bleu J. (pronounced just like bluejay).
I’m currently working on book 3, meaning they’re currently in college but I still haven’t finished book 2 (high school). I’m writing it so I know the end anyway, but I’ll draw it later honestly.
[edit: 3/8/14 IT’S BEEN EXACTLY TWO YEARS SINCE I DREW THESE WOW SO MUCH LOVE I HAVE FOR THIS I HAVE FOR THIS]
We did all this because the only way to gain a con man’s respect is to con him. You’re pretty good, Sawyer, we’re a lot better. Funny thing is, us telling you about the pacemaker wasn’t what kept you in line. It was when we threatened her. You work so hard to make her think that you don’t care, that you don’t need her. A guy goes nuts if he ain’t got nobody. It don’t make no difference who the guy is, as long as he’s with you. I tell you, a guy gets too lonely and he gets sick.” “It’s from Of Mice and Men. Don’t you read? Come on. Let’s get you back to you cage.
