Benedict Wigglestein

Ok the fact that his last name is “Wigglestein” is hilarious

Benedict being revealed had me in a chokehold (and evidently still does) and I absolutely adore this man. The fact that the menacing and intimidating figure that is father is deep down THIS man is honestly incredible,and so fitting for him. I also like seeing Benedict interact with the delightful children,as he comes off as even more of an authentic father ironically

Fathers Mansion

Without sounding sappy or annoying having grown up with this show one of my favourite details about it has always been father’s home.It reminds me of when you were a kid staying over at your friends house,how unfamiliar you were with the environment and how much bigger the whole place felt. Like it just went on forever,that’s what fathers home reminds me of.

It also has its own clear aesthetic I adore,and it’s clear it’s his home,as you can tell thanks to the house reflecting his personality. Yes I’m biased because of nostalgia,but I adore this home and always wanted to try and draw it. So an attempt was made :]

Lil bit of a different style

Grandfather.

Much as I despise grandfather as a person,I’ll be dammed if he’s not an amazing villain. A peak example of a narcissist parent who abuses both of his sons (one with detachment and the other with favouritism) in an attempt to deliberately make them dislike each other. Even in adulthood when Benedict tries to prove himself to grandfather it’s useless,but eventually Benedict simply becomes numb to it.

Hate the man,but LOVE the villain
