So yes, I may just be your super-basic roleplay community writing-content driven blog, that’s for sure. But part of the roleplaying community at least here on tumblr is having someone to, you know, write with? Meaning another blog devoted to writing content concerning explorations of the character specified, etc, etc. And as far as I can tell you’re not an active roleplay blog so much as a character/actor/aesthetic blog, and while none of that is reflective of any wrong choice on your part, the social atmosphere of the tumblr RP community is geared toward making character interactions such as the one you requested easier by making writer-specific interpretations accessible to potential writing partners so as to expedite the collaborative writing process. As far as I can tell, that is as yet not what your blog is engaged in doing, and this makes it difficult and rather impossible for me to meet the request outright.
And while it may be a fun suggestion, my starter call in particular wasn’t simply an invitation for surreptitious writing prompts. What it was meant to provide was a welcome for other RP blogs to come and write with me on a collaborative level, hence the typical tumblr RP exchange.
Now, from time to time I do offer commission based writing, and that would be the correct venue for a request like this. That is, however, not what this particular starter call was designed for, nor am I at the moment looking to fulfill abstract writing prompts just for the hell of it. RP is my hobby, and a part of what makes it fun as a hobby is not having to do it alone and being able to make friends doing it, so cold-call requests like these feel less like that fun interactive atmosphere and more like a transaction the likes of which I am not expressly open for at the moment.
However! I am also entirely capable of having made a major boo-boo in not recognizing a main blog that hosts side-blogs, or a blogger I write with usually just commenting from another blog, etc. So if this is the case please let me know, because that will make the entire situation above workable for me because it was obviously my own mistake! I hope no matter the case that I’ve at least helped clarify something or another, and that rather than stunt your ideas this has just helped veer them toward more conducive channels.∞
