I keep remembering Ben 10 as being really successful, but it must not have been, because Cartoon Network never went for a bigger push than a couple of TV movies.
Like if Disney had had this, we would've had two summer blockbusters and 6 streaming sequels by now.
I guess they intended it primarily as a toy ad and it did that well enough, so, meh.
It spent longer in development than it was a series. The original idea was that he'd turn into a bunch of adult superheroes.
Granted if they had done that, Warners probably would have sued them for ripping off Shazam.
