Bennett's Feather Star (Oxycomanthus bennetti)
is a species of crinoid (a class of filter feeding echinoderms) native to the warm waters of the Indo-West Pacific. Like most feather stars this species bores into exposed coral heads where it uses its many arms with small finger like appendages called cirri to filter the water to and trap food. They vary in color from yellow/brown and purple.
