Kai

Kai is the man with a plan when it comes to physical touch. He will always match your energy to the best of his ability!

He’s always open for it. Wether it be your arm wrapped around his or blatantly laying on top of him. He’s okay with all of it and rarely gets overwhelmed with what you feel like is smothering.

He specifically really enjoys the hugs you give him, where you’re nuzzled into his shoulder and your arms are wrapped tightly around him. he admired the security it brings him and makes him feel so dorky. For him, he enjoys picking you up just to hold you dramatically. Or smothering your face in kisses.

It surprises him at first, not expecting you to feel the same way as him with things such as physical touch. But once he understands, he craves it and gets all dramatic over it.

He will never be satisfied until you are basically crawling into his skin (not really).

But without your touch, he gets all upset, looking like a kicked puppy and he WILL in fact whine to you about how you aren’t close enough to him. And if he doesn’t get his way, by golly, there’s gonna be a fire.

Everything you do will always send him back, no matter how long you’ve been together. He is crushing on you so hard and will let you know every minute of the day.

Lloyd

Touch was something that was always fairly new to Lloyd.

He never received much as a child, when it was received, it wasn’t very positive affection.

When you started expressing your love for physical touch, you noticed all the small things he seemed to do because if it.

At first, he’d flinch when you moved a little too quick or anything. Physically tense up when you’d wrap your arms around him so suddenly. And he couldn’t bring himself to tell you that he enjoyed your affection, but didn’t know how to receive it.

Slowly but surely through your reassurance, he loosened up and started to learn that this was positive attention, and it’s something that he would eventually look forward to!

He was no longer startled with your big hugs, sudden kisses amongst his face, and other acts of affection you were so happy to give. It became routine, and now he’d be fairly upset if you were to lack in your affection department.

In all, Lloyd is a broken child who just needs to be reconnected with himself sometimes. He soon learns from you that he can relax and enjoy this. He isn’t just the green ninja, he’s Lloyd. Little Lloyd Garmadon who loves his hugs and kisses from his lover. And he’s slowly starting to thank you for healing his inner child.

Morro

Much like Lloyd, Morro never really received affection growing up. Nor could he receive it when he was, well, dead.

But soon enough, with many changes, forgiveness, and a physical form. He was able to receive such things, things you were over the moon about!

He’s fairly awkward with affection, and it’s just something so foreign to him that it’s hard to become so used to it like you are.

He doesn’t despise it, by any means, in all honesty it makes him feel all warm to see you so joyous about wanting to show him affection. But at first, he was in severe denial about it all. He’d reject your advances, and even had gotten a bit aggressive with it. Which he now apologizes for, and he’ll do his best to express his admiration for it when he can, in time. It takes long to heal from what he once had been.

The boy grew quite fond of you early on, and admired how you tried to express your affections to him even when he was a ghost. When he finally received his human form again, you wrapped your arms around him so tightly, he could barely breathe. (Which was also new to him once more).

Though he enjoys the affection, it can get overwhelming sometimes. When his frustrations get the better of him, he will express that he just can’t be touched in that moment. That he’ll return later on to apologize and attempt to hug and kiss you as you do him.

And it’ll get you every time! No matter how fussy he was, or how upset he had made you. His apologies feel so thorough and thoughtful that you can forget what you were mad about so easily. Morro deserves the world and more, and that’s what you’re gonna give him.

Bentho

Benthomaar was someone who would always let his curiosity get the better of him. And from a young age, he was always curious. About things that matter, things that don’t matter. Things that don’t hold much importance to him, and things that he holds closely to him.

Currently, He was curious as to how you’re so enthusiastic and happy to express affection to someone such as him. Of course, he does his best to understand you and your sweet advances towards him.

He’d get caught up in thinking too harshly of himself, wondering if he deserved your attention. His skin surely wasn’t the softest to cuddle into or kiss, nor was he that understanding of how life was like above the surface like many like you. But all of that made you the curious one. Curious as to how this cinnamon roll was kept from you all your life.

Bentho was such a joy to know and be around, and it made you so happy to hug and kiss him so sweetly. Even though you knew he wasn’t sure if he deserved all of it. Or any of it, in fact.

But in time, he learned that it was something he deserved. Comfort, that is. He seemed to break through his barricade of awkwardness and denial and thoroughly enjoyed what you expressed to him.

He never finds it overwhelming, and if he did, he wouldn’t ever tell you in fear that it would upset you. You’re a treasure to him, and how you express your love and admiration will always leave him in awe of how great you are. He adores you too much to be bothered by anything more.

╰╮Dandelions , Benthomaar x GN Reader.

You sat on a grassy hill, and there were dandelions all around you. You took a deep breath of air. The wind whipped your hair around, as it had for years now. Your eyes looked out over the fields, where the sun glistened brightly and the birds sang in harmony. It was one of your favorite places to be, then you heard footsteps. You turned around to see who it was.

It was Bentho.

You've seen him come by to the monastery a couple of times and those times he would just come and chat with you. He's always so friendly and nice. So, he surprised you when he walked up to you, smiling. He didn't even say anything but he just smiled that bright smile of his and said “Hi!” He sat down next to you, his tail swishing behind him happily. His smile made you smile too. His blue skin/scales contrasted greatly with his black hair that fell perfectly on his forehead, framing his face. His big blue eyes were looking into yours with kindness.

"What brings you here?" He asked. There was a mischievous grin across his face like usual. But something about it didn't seem right. You furrowed your brows. You shrugged. "Dunno I just… needed some fresh air." Then you giggled slightly. "Though this is pretty amazing scenery isn't it!" You leaned back on your hands, looking at the sky. Bentho nodded slowly, staring at your face with what seemed to be a hint of longing. His cheeks turned red. He looked at the ground beneath him, there was a dandelion poking through. He gently pulled on the plant to pull it up. He held it up. An idea then popped up into his head as he began to pull dandelions out of the ground.

You had your eyes closed, enjoying the breeze. Not paying much attention to what the Merlopian was doing. When suddenly there was a weight on your head. You opened your eyes and saw a dandelion crown resting on top of your head. You lifted up a hand to touch it lightly. It felt soft and fluffier than you imagined. You laughed softly at it. You blushed at the male besides you. "Thought it might be cool," he said. His voice sounded embarrassed. "Close your eyes." You told him. He looked at you confused, "Why?" "Just close 'em`!" You giggled. He stared at you and then he softened, closing his own eyes. "Okay." You smiled, before starting to pull out the dandelions that were besides you.

After a moment of silence he spoke, "Can I open them now?" He asked, his tail wagging behind him once more. You laughed, "Not yet!" You told him, pulling out two dandelions from the ground beside you. Bentho flinched a bit when he felt a weight on his head. "Ok! Open them!" You said cheerfully. He did so, opening his eyes. There sat a flower crown, similar to the one on your head, except it had a smaller one in the middle. He smiled brightly, his tail wagging faster. A warm smile formed on his face. You giggled again at it. “There’s one for you too.” You told him. You let out a squeak as Bentho tackled you to the ground, causing a large pile of flowers to bloom.

Both of you burst out laughing and you both stared at each other in delight for a while. Eventually, Bentho stopped laughing, his tails still flicking behind him rapidly. His face got a bit red, you could see it in his cheeks, and he looked away bashfully. With a chuckle, you leaned closer to him, so that your foreheads were touching. Your lips were only centimeters apart. He stared into your eyes, his gaze unblinking and unwavering. The sun cast an orange glow across his scales. His eyes were mesmerizing, they reminded you of the ocean. You couldn’t help but stare back at him, entranced. As you did, he leaned in closer, slowly raising his hand and cupping your face.

He brushed his thumb along your cheek and then rested his hand on your chin. He was still staring deeply into your eyes, his pupils dilated in awe. He brought his face closer towards yours, as though he was going to kiss you. You felt your heart skip and jump wildly in your chest. All the thoughts you’d ever thought of him flooded back to you. All of his kindness. His gentle nature. Everything.

You knew you wouldn’t mind if he kissed you.

BENTHOMAAR + HUMAN S/O

i'm gonna say this takes place a couple of months after seabound? during the time benthomaar decided to stay at monastery.

he's always been a kind and generous person; it's very likely he will go the extra mile for his significant other and be glad to do so.

as a merlopian tradition, it's common for the said species to continuously gift their partner as a way of courting (he likely does this before and during the relationship).

so bentho often spoils you with things he finds in the sea: such as pretty seashells, colorful pieces of coral, a piece of feldspars stone, and even a pearl once.

he always presents these things with an almost bashful look on his face, since the tradition is very intimate and he takes it very seriously (always proceed to grin the happiest grin when you accept the things he gives).

and in general, he's a huge giver, so it's sorta comes with him like a package deal

he literally doesn't mind that you're a human! some seamen might shown an indifference to the said kind, but benthomaar has alwats been curious of the land-dwellers. plus he adores you all the same and aims to learn more about you.

he'll ask about human culture with genuine interest, holding a look of child-like wonder and intrigue at everything you tell him.

it's more than likely that during dates, he'll ask things ("what do humans like to do?" "do you have royalty?" "what are your customs like?")

speaking of dates ー he loves going to the beach.

he'll never get tired of it; please take him there, bentho would literally fall deeper in love with you.

aquariums would be a close second, but that's only after you explain to him why his friends are being held captive :(

you both probably get banned from at least one after benthomaar decided to swim inside one of the tanks though (he apologizes several times afterwards).

affection is also an extremely important thing for him, so he never initiates it without asking you first.

he literally gives you inuit kisses so frequently its adorable (for goodbyes, greetings, to comfort you, etc.)

he's scared to truly kiss you sometimes because he doesn't want his sharp teeth to harm you in the process (benthomaar wouldn't forgive himself if he were to ever hurt you, even if not intentionally).

it's why the ones he gives you are very soft and tender!!

bentho always flushes some degree of blue afterwards too .. oml he is so precious

sometimes he might say "i wish father could've met you" or "my father would've loved you" and that's when you need to give him a long hug tbh

he'll occasionally mention merlopia to you, going into description about all the sights he think you would love.

"in a certain part of the year, there's this collection of coral that glows really bright ー i hope i can show you someday."

definitely talks about you to any sea life that'll listen (from crabs to seahorses or even turtles)

they can't even bother to hate it because benthomaar always speaks so fondly of you, they just know you must be a good person.

if you don't know how to swim? he'll teach you (will stop whenever you want and never takes you anywhere deeper than calf length).

honestly... who'd literally pass up the chance to have themselves in his arms

even after he takes over kingly duties, benthomaar tries his best to see you when he can (or kindly asks a guard to deliver letters to you).

just wait until he learns about underwater cameras because he would never stop taking photos to give to you.

"Love, I can't let you go out like this!"

You groaned in response as Benthomaar, your beloved and caring boyfriend pushed you back in bed like some toddler that searched for some snack at 3:00 am. It wasn't that bad! Just a few coughs and a bit of temperature but nothing deadly...

"You are burning! We can't go pick corals if you're sick. You're gonna stay here until you are well again, end of discussion." He scolded you and tucked you into bed. You pouted your lips at him and crossed your arms.

"But-" "No buts. Stay here, I'm gonna get you chicken soup." You sighed as dramatically as possible and he just smiled at you. Before he could leave though, you grabbed his hand.

"I don't want you to go. Can you stay? Please?" You asked with the best puppy eyes you could pull out. You internally cringed at how cliché your current situation was.

“I'm not gonna leave, okay? I'll get you some medications and soup. I'll be back real soon," he reassured you and pat your head. He can see that you were a bit disappointed that he was leaving you alone. "Y/n, let me take care of you. I want to help you." He smiled the brightest and most adorable smile you've ever seen in your entire life and he kissed your forehead ever so gently. You melted at his affectionate gestures. Gosh, what did you do to have such a perfect lover?

He left you and went out the ridiculously huge doors of his room to get you the chicken soup and meds.

About 20 minutes later, he came back with said items on a tray, plus a glass of water. He sat next to next to you and took out the medicine and gavd it to you. You sat up and ate it with the water.

You were about to take the soup, but a certain prince took it before you could.

You raised an eyebrow at him and he smiled at you. "Say aah~ !" He took a spoonful of the soup and held it up to your mouth, waiting for you to eat it (drink it?).

Your face reddened and you tried to hide your blush with your hand. "Bentho, I can eat it by myself! You don't need to do all of this for me..."

"Of course I do. I want to feed you, wether you're fully capable of doing it yourself or not." Could he get any more adorable?

You complied, rather bashfully, and he fed you the soup.

Once you were done, he put the bowl on the tray and placed it on the bedside table.

"You know you could've just rang the kitchen and they would have come to give you the things." He chuckled and answered you, "I know, but I wanted to do everything by myself for you."

"Wait, you made the soup?" You asked, surprised.

"Of course. Why are you surprised?"

"Since when do you know how to cook?"

"There's a whole lot of stuff I can do that you don't know about."

He giggled at the impressed look displayed all over your face. He took your hand and intertwined your fingers, before resting his face in the crook of your neck.

"I love you, Y/n." You could feel him smile against your neck.

"I love you more, Prince Benthomaar of the underwater kingdom Merlopia." You giggled, taking your other hand and playing with his hair.

You stopped when you realized something.

"Hey! You're gonna get sick too if you stay too close to me!" You tried to move yourself away from him, but he hugged your waist and layed on the bed, taking you with him.

"Hmm, so what? You're also going to take care of me, won't you?" He laughed and you just blushed furiously.

"I mean, yeah but-" You tried to reason, but he cut you off and buried his face in your neck, once more.

"Then I have no reason to worry about me getting sick." He turned you around, and kissed you sweetly on the lips. "I just want you by my side."

"I'm always by your side, Bentho." You tittered and he smiled that cute smile of his.

"I meant physically."

"I know, I just wanted to mess with you."

He chuckled, and you kissed his cheek.

"I love you."

"You already said that"

"And I'll say it again." He pinched your cheeks and beamed at you. "I love you so, so much Y/n. More than I could put into words."

You snickered and hugged him before replying, "As do I, my love."

The next day came, and you woke up to Benthomaar sitting up, wildly coughing and sneezing.

You sighed. "I told you you shouldn't have been staying too close to me."

He looked at your awake figure and smiled sheepishly.

He was so sweet and you loved him, but man did he need to start listening to you more.
