Ayağında oluşan bir mantardan sonra, Gördüğü rüyalarda kendisini ormanın derinliklerine davet eden mantarların davetine icabet eden bir adamın, Yer yer hiç tanımadığı, bazen tanıdığı insan/insanlarla da bir araya gelerek öldürülme/hayata devam savaşı verdiği bir macera filmi. Gerilimi artırmak için yapılmış ama; alçalan yükselen sesler, simsiyah bembeyaz yanıp sönen ışıkların izleyiciyi rahatsız ettiğini belirtmek isterim. Film, dünyanın neresinde olursa olsun, bitkilerin bir birleri ile haberleştiğini ve hareket edebilen canlılarla da etkileşim içerisinde olduğunu anlatmaya çalışsa da, senaryo içerisindeki evrilmelerle maalesef başarılı olamamış ve izleyicisine neden ben bu filme bu kadar zaman ayırdım diye kafa yedirtiyor. Halbuki filmin içerisinde, filmi izlenir hale getirecek öğeler mevcut. Bir salgın var, İlaç geliştirilmesi ve test edilmesi gerek, Denek insan lazım, Sağlık hizmetine başvuran pimpirik insanlardan bir kişi, halüsinasyon etkili ilaçlarla ormana yönlendirilebilirdi, Ormanda, tabiat aşığı bir doktora, insanların bedenleri ile tabiatı beslemek görevini kendi kendine üstlenmiş bir psikopat rolü verilebilirdi, Fantastik öğeler katılmak isteniyorsa da; tabiattaki bitkilerde iyi ve kötü olarak ayrılabilirdi; doktorun insan bedeni besinini yemek için can atan bitkiler ile yok olmak pahasına insanları korumaya ve çıkışa yönlendirmeye çalışan bitkiler olabilirdi.
